The atmosphere in the cozy pub was welcoming, and
the food was impressive—highly recommend the home-cooked meals! Though evening dining hours could be inconsistent, the owners were friendly and made us feel at home. My room was clean, but a bit small for my liking.

Beautiful surrounding views enhance the rural charm.
The shower facilities in the shared bathroom were just rubber pipes attached to taps, which was more disappointing than expected. I faced issues with the key not working upon my return late at night, leaving me worried about being locked out in such a remote area without a mobile signal. Lastly, the strong doggy odour in the stairwell was quite off-putting, detracting from the otherwise lovely atmosphere.

Had a lovely time at the Royal in Rhandirmwyn. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful hills. Enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals, especially the cottage pie which was hearty and flavorful. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The room, though small, was clean and had everything needed, including an electric kettle for tea. the shared bathroom setup felt a bit inconvenient. The hot water was challenging to regulate. there were issues with noise from the floorboards late at night. These minor discomforts didn't overshadow the positive experience. a charming stay in a cozy, dog-friendly environment.
